The ATA Grand American is an event that has been engrained in the sport of trap shooting for over 100 years. Spanning multiple weeks, the Grand American is hosted at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois. This complex holds 120 trap houses that span across a whooping 3.5 miles, 2 sporting clays courses, and more than 1,000 camping sites, making it a shooters paradise. This year marks the 125th annual shoot and shooters across the world, including Team Remington, made the journey to hit the fields of Sparta for this pinnacle event.
Remington Ammunition’s, Logan Henry took home the title for the World Doubles Championship event put on by the ATA. After busting 100 targets straight, Logan made his way into a competitive shoot off where he stood his ground and beat out 4 other talented shooters. Not only did Logan earn a world title, but he also participated and placed competitively in 10 other events at the Grand American. Logan is no stranger to the stage as his track record of success began at a young age. Earning various junior titles during his development as a trap shooter, Logan has been able to hone his skills, win some hardware, and make a handful of new friends throughout his career. Aside from his recent success, Logan also boasts a handful of shooting accomplishments including nine Arkansas state championships and a collection out of state titles.
Hailing from Dequeen, Arkansas, Logan is an engineering graduate from Arkansas Tech University and is currently a Research and Development Engineer with Remington in Lonoke, Arkansas. Not only does Logan advance the Remington brand on the stage, but he also plays a pivotal part in driving the innovation here at Remington Ammunition alongside the R&D team. We are glad to have you on our team, Logan! Well-deserved and congratulations!
