Really Impressed with Thunderbolt Ammo
I recently ordered a box of Thunderbolt ammo (500 rounds) from Midway and I fired over 300 rounds through seven different firearms without a single malfunction. The firearms included a Ruger 10/22, Taurus TX22, Jennings, S&W M&P 15-22 pistol, Walther/Colt 1911, Ruger Wrangler and a Browning Buckmark. Again, not one single issue with the ammo. I have a video on youtube showing my test results, including velocity, reliability and accuracy of this rimfire ammo. I will definitely be buying more. Thank you, Remington!

Something has changed
I compete in multiple Steel Challenges each month. I shoot a Ruger 22/45 Mark IV Tactical. I have been using Thunderbolt 22LR for over a year with not one problem. Now in the last 2 months something has changed in their Thunderbolt ammo. Mis fires regularly and doesn’t want to eject the spent cartridges. Regularly sounds like a squib fire. I use to only clean my gun before each competition, but now I need to clean it after each stage (25-35 rounds). I now use CCI 22LR MiniMags.

i had stocked up on 22 lr ammo a long time ago because it had gotten so bad you couldnt find them anywhere except from individuals who gouged prices. its really nice now to have remington on the job keeping the prices decent and the product available.
